At the age of eight, the first thing and only thing my Father showed me how to draw was the profile of a cowboys face on a piece of paper. When he drew it, I freaked out and asked him to do it again, and he did. I looked on in amazement. Watching my father make that cowboy come alive by putting pencil to paper changed my life forever. Since that day, art, and the creative process of bringing imagination to life have consumed my world. What you see today is no doubt the results of that amazing moment in time with my father.
I have been applying paint to canvas for over 50 years. It is the challenge of the entire creative process that interests me the most. Bringing ideas from mind to reality, and the journey from beginning to end is a beautiful process. It doesn’t matter to me what it is if it allows me to let my mind run free so I can imagine and explore the possibilities of creating something new for myself and the viewer.

Imagination Running Wild – I never know what the image will be until it enters my mind and starts to dance. That is why I have so many different collections. Images come and go, it’s the ones that stay and dance that I love the most. The ones that like to dance and stay the longest are always talking to me. The only way to get them out of my mind is to make them a reality. I like paintings that are colorful, fun, big, bold, and beautiful. I like adding hard to find very subtle symbols hidden in a lot of my work. My challenge is painting or sculpting something new and different. As an artist I try to introduce eyeballs to images they have never seen before. Creating images straight from my imagination are images clients know they can not find anywhere else. My clients and collectors love the fact that the contemporary, fun, images I paint and sculpt are unique, creative, distinctively original conversation pieces and one-of-a-kind works of art.
